Terms of Use

Last updated 19 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Akasa Coworking app. By signing in, you agree to them.

What these terms cover

These terms are between you and Akasa Co-working Pvt. Ltd. (Akasa Coworking) and cover the app only. They do not replace the workspace agreement between Akasa Coworking and the company you work for. If the two ever conflict on a commercial matter — pricing, credits, notice periods, lock-in — the workspace agreement governs.

Who may use the app

The app is provided to members of client companies that hold a current agreement with Akasa Coworking, and to Akasa Coworking staff. There is no public sign-up: accounts are created for you by Akasa Coworking. You may use the app only for as long as you are authorised by your company and by us.

Your account

  • Keep your password confidential and do not let anyone else use your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to it.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
  • Keep your profile details accurate so bookings, invoices and notifications reach the right person.

Acceptable use

When using the app, you agree not to:

  • Use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms others at our centres.
  • Try to access data belonging to other members, companies or centres.
  • Probe, scan or attempt to defeat the security of the app or its infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious code, or content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes someone's rights.
  • Book resources in bad faith — for example, repeatedly reserving rooms you do not intend to use, or booking to deny availability to others.
  • Register visitors who you have not genuinely invited, or misrepresent who they are.
  • Copy, scrape or resell any part of the app or its content.

Bookings, credits and cancellations

Meeting rooms are booked against credits allocated to your company under its agreement. Minimum and maximum booking durations, cancellation cut-off times and the credits charged per slot are shown in the app at the time of booking and can differ by centre and by room.

  • Credits are allocated to your company, not to you personally, and have no cash value.
  • Cancelling within the cut-off shown in the app restores the credits; cancelling later may not.
  • Not turning up for a booking may result in the room being released to others.
  • We may adjust or reverse credit entries to correct an error.

Visitors you invite

When you register a visitor you confirm that you have invited them and that you may share their details with us for the purpose of admitting them to the centre. You are responsible for your visitors while they are on site, and they must follow our centre rules.

Support requests

We aim to acknowledge and resolve support tickets promptly, but the app does not create a guaranteed response time unless one is set out in your company's agreement. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a ticket description or photograph unless it is necessary to resolve the issue.

Billing

Invoices, credit balances and usage shown in the app relate to your company and are issued to it, not to you as an individual. Figures displayed in the app are provided for visibility; the invoice issued to your company is the authoritative record.

Availability

We work to keep the app available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend access for maintenance, to protect security, or where a provider we depend on fails. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the product develops.

Suspension and ending access

We may suspend or withdraw your access if you breach these terms, if your company's agreement with us ends, or if your company asks us to remove you. On termination, records we are required to keep for accounting, tax or safety reasons are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can delete your own account at any time in the app, from Profile → Delete my account. It takes effect immediately — see Data & account deletion.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and we will notify you in the app of significant changes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
